How to Sell Across Multiple Marketplaces Using Shopify Marketplace Connect

Expanding your e-commerce business across multiple marketplaces like Amazon, Target Plus, eBay, Walmart, and Etsy can be seamless with the Shopify Marketplace Connect app. This guide will walk you through how to set up and manage your products, orders, and inventory across these platforms using Shopify Marketplace Connect.

1. Install Shopify Marketplace Connect

Start by installing the Shopify Marketplace Connect app to your Shopify store. This app allows you to connect your product catalog to multiple marketplaces, sync your listings and orders, and manage everything from your Shopify admin.

Steps:

  • From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  • Click Marketplace Connect.
  • Click Open app.

2. Connect Your First Marketplace Account

After installing the app, connect your Shopify store to your desired marketplace. This connection allows you to manage product listings, inventory, and orders directly from Shopify.

5. Manage Orders from Multiple Marketplaces

Manage all your orders from connected marketplaces directly in Shopify. Orders are automatically synced, and you can fulfill them as if they were placed through your online store.

Steps:

  • Access the Orders section in your Shopify admin.
  • Review orders imported from marketplaces, which will display the marketplace name in the Channel field.
  • Fulfill orders and Shopify Marketplace Connect will automatically sync shipping status and tracking updates to the respective marketplace.

6. Disconnect a Marketplace (If Necessary)

  • From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
  • Click Marketplace Connect and open the app.
  • In the Accounts section, select the marketplace you want to disconnect and click Disconnect account.
